Jaipur, March 4: Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have retired from international cricket but he still remains popular among his fans. Dhoni arrived in the Sachor district of Rajasthan for the inauguration of the school where the crowd of fans went uncontrollable to get a glimpse of him.
The mob broke tents and barricades and tried to get close to Dhoni. The police had to lathicharge to handle the crowd and the officials sent Dhoni to Ahmedabad safely by road. The founders of the school, Dharmachand Jain and Dhoni, have known each other ever since he saw his business in Mumbai and Dubai. Dharamchand named the school after his mother, Dhoni was called to inaugurate it. Dhoni, who won three ICC trophies under his captaincy to India, retired from international cricket on August 15 last year.
