New Delhi, 13 February: Last year, in the last six months of 2020, a record 10 million Smartphone shipments were received in the Indian market. This information was given in a cyber media research report (CMR) released on Friday. The report said that Samsung ranked first with a 19 percent share in 2020. However, in the December quarter, China’s mobile phone company Xiaomi ranked first with 27 percent market share.
According to the CMR Mobile Handset Review report for the December quarter, “Smartphone shipments declined significantly in the first six months of 2020.” This helped companies make a strong comeback in the last six months. As the economy is gradually opening up, consumer demand is increasing. This supported the growth of the smartphone industry and for the first time in the last six months of 2020, shipments crossed 100 million. ” Also read: Record 10 million smartphones in India in the last six months of 2020: Report
